Last weekend one of my gaming buddies hosted a Star Wars party. It was a lot of fun hanging out with fellow Star Wars geeks as we watched The Force Awakens Blu-ray (and the extras), talked about various fan theories regarding the next film, and celebrated our shared love of the franchise.
Of course, no Star Wars party is complete without Luke’s beverage of choice (full disclosure: I’m not much of a milk drinker anymore, so I didn’t partake).
Not sure how I missed this, but it is AWESOME.
Take the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer and re-do it with none of the budget. Brilliant!
Good news: The original trilogy is coming back to select theaters this summer!
Bad news: They’ll be the 1997 re-release versions.
I hope that one day we’ll be able to watch the original trilogy the way it was meant to be seen, with Han shooting first and the Ewok Celebration song (Yub Nub!) ending Episode VI.
Until then, we’ll have to live with bootlegged despecialized versions.
Shut up and take my money. Is it December 16th yet?!
I LOVE Honest Trailers. They’re irreverent, snarky, and funny. The Honest Teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released months ago and the expanded Honest Trailer below was just posted. Hilarious!
Like I said, I LOVE Honest Trailers.
I visited Japan for the first time last week. On the way to/from the country, one of the in-flight movies was Star Wars: The Force Awakens!
Considering the fact that the flights averaged out to 10 hours each, I’m somewhat disappointed I only watched it three times.
